HTC Desire HD with HTC Sense & Android 2.3 Friyo Upgraded !

HTC was not new to me, My first touch phone was the basic HTC Touch Windows Mobile, I loved it and used for years then switched over to Apple for its stable and robust OU and UI, Now my latest experience is with HTC Desire HD which I brought for my wife but now I have exchanged for my i-Phone 4 32 GB.

It was a really cool experience to have most of the useful app that was charged in the i-Tunes market are free in Android Market at least you find a mere copy free app for every charged ones. EOD what’s the big deal of having million apps which cannot be used..
The WOW factors of HTC Desire HD are
1. Display: 4.3 – (It will just mesmerize you)
2. Android 2.2 Upgradable - Need not jail break to have your favorite
and most useful apps
3. Reading and Replying to mails are bit easier with the larger Key
Board on screen
4. CPU Processing Speed 1 GHZ
5. RAM 768 – You will really feel the difference
6. 8.2 MP Camera is real good
7. 720 p HD video recording
8. Dual LED flash (You will not miss your hang over parties on dim
light bars)
9. Audio and Video Play Back (wide range of support)
10. Extendable Memory up to 32 GB internal 1.5 GB
11. Free GPS Apps (Works fine most of the time, never keep you waiting)
12. The Audio Output through the 3.5 mm Jack out of my BOSE 5.1 or (QC-15) – Outstanding (Dolby Mobile & SRS)
13. HD Play back on LED Full HD TV – You have to see the difference to
fell the new experience from the mobile
14. Supports Adobe Flash (Hence you can browse any website you wish)

Battery power and accessories are the area where HTC has shrunk, Battery life is not up to the mark when compared with i-Phone but it’s ok and manageable and it’s not common to find a Leather Pouch or Scratch Guard for HTC out there in normal mobile shops.

If you really want more sensible useful apps you can go for Android OS phones, there is a slight difficulty in organizing the apps and navigating between apps when compared to Apple, but it’s suppressed by the available apps for which you would love to take some pain in getting friendly with Android.

HTC Desire HD meets all of my requirement that I expected from a smart phone so far and will be a good phone for at least 6-months.
